Born 1932 in India.

Was featured for many years in The Guinness Book of Records. Her record - the multiplication of two thirteen-digit numbers in 28 seconds -  is generally dismissed as a fantasy.

Calculations performed by Shakuntala Devi

Devi's trademark calculations are extracting cube roots from perfect cubes (roots of up to four digits) and naming the day of the week for any given date.
